Antique Jonquil Vaseline Beads, Mixed Shapes
Interesting strand of mixed shapes vaseline glass beads, made in the mid 1800's in Czech region and traded in Mali. A bright "greasy" jonquil color, matte finish. They are very rare now. 26 inch strand with 65 beads. 9-18mm diameter x 8-16mm tall with a few textured and fluted round beads, cornerless cubes, and small bicones in the mix. Classic conical-drill, 1.5-5mm holes. A unique and rare strand. These beads are in good condition, with a few chipped beads.
