Yellow, clear, black Vintage Bonda Beads from India
32" strand of irregular,clear, yellow and black glass beads from the Bonda (or Bondo) tribe of the state of Odisha (formerly Orissa), an eastern Indian state on the Bay of Bengal. These beads are over 100 years old. Average bead is 5mm long x 7mm diameter. The Bonda tribe is one of the oldest and most primitive in mainland India; their culture has changed little for more than a thousand years.
