Ancient Carnelian from Djenne, Mali
Soft carnelian orange colors, beautifully graduated discs and cylindrical beads measuring from 14mm diameter -7mm. Short strand, 8 inches long. These beads are excavated in Djenne, Mali and are between 1000-2000 years old! A few quartz or bauxite in the mix.
