Strand of Antique Cobalt Rings
28" strand of matte cobalt "Dogon Donuts", a Dutch-made bead circa late 1700's and early 1800's, traded in Mali, West Africa with the Dogon People. These cobalt vibrant blue ring-shaped beads are 12mm diameter x 3-4mm thick. Hole is approximately 8mm. These have a worn appearance. A bit of oil such as shea butter will bring out the color. Just wearing them will have a similar effect from the oils in the wearer's skin. A classic!
