Strand of Roman Glass Beads, Coins
19" strand of ancient Roman period glass pieces cut and drilled as beads recently. Over 2000 years old from various excavations in and around Afghanistan. A variety of mostly round lentil-shape or coin-shape beads, graduated sizes and mostly sea-green. Wonderful as it is, but needs restringing. Sizes range from 8mm diameter to the large centerpiece 16mm. This ancient glass has calcification and patina, and some small cylindrical spacer beads between.
