Antique Clear Vaseline Beads
Wonderful strand of smaller clear glass vaseline beads made in Czech Republic in the late 1800's and traded in Mali, West Africa. Matte finish smoothed-faceted beads are mostly 8mm diameter. A bit cloudy transparent, some beads are ground down with flat ends. A real variety of shapes on this strand. Center beads are varied, largest is 13mm diameter. 110 beads on the strand, 29 inches long. Smooth with wear, but in good condition!
