Pre-Islamic Glass Bead, Black & White
This is an extremely rare glass bead, dated about 500 BC, handmade in Persia, now Iran. The excellent condition and size of this bead is unusual. There is one slight chip on the side, but worn smooth (2nd photo). Highly collectible and rare. 14mm across widest bottom diameter x 12mm tall, cone shaped black glass bead with drizzled white glass embellishments, with 4mm hole. Beautiful!
