Strand of Large Seafoam Green Vaseline Beads from the 1800s
Here’s a fantastic 28" strand of seafoam green vaseline beads, which are the rarest kind! Their greenish yellow color is caused by uranium salts, which were used as a coloring agent. Beads average 16mm x 12mm; 68 beads on the strand (some variety in size). These antique beads are from the mid-late 1800s.
