Small Tribal Conch Shell Pendant from India
Small antique tribal pendant made from a mollask shell that is sacred to tribes in India (Turbinella pyrum, common names the chank shell, sacred chank or chank, also known as the divine conch, sometimes referred to simply as a conch). Lovely irregular and organic pendant; 55mm long x 14mm wide with one 3m hole through the center. From the Ao tribe of the Nagaland state of India.
