Old Green Hebron Bead, Large

Availability: 9 in stock

Estimated to be between 600 and 800 years old, made in Israel and heavily traded in the Sudan region, Hebron beads were made from Dead Sea salts and the second most common color are these dark green. Because of the war in Sudan, these beads are nearly impossible to find, and the price is rising. These are the larger, squared off-squat barrel shaped variety of Hebron beads, averaging 18-24mm diameter x 12-15mm thick. Each bead is unique, photo shows the variation in size, shape and color.
