Antique Job's Tears, Papua New Guinea
These antique seed pods are called Job's Tears in the southwest where traditional Native American jewelry has been made. These are from Papua New Guinea and have been worn by several generations giving them a rich surface and color. Beads are approximately 10 x 6mm and are about 22 inches long. Colors are mixed: light beige, dark brown, and tan. Some have more beige and some are mostly tan. They vary.
