Ancient Roman Dig Beads, Grey
Charming 24" strand of 2000+ year old Roman Era glass beads. Awesome collection of mixed beads: wide rage of shapes with the primary color being grey; with calcification on practically every bead. Other color of beads are also in the mix like white, yellows, and a few blues. They were excavated around the ancient trading city of Djenné (which is near Timbuktu) in the country of Mali. The average bead size rages from tiny 1mm x 3mm to small 3mm x 5mm in diameter with very small holes. A few larger beads may also be included.
