Ancient Glass Beads, Afghanistan
20" strand of ancient turquoise glass beads from Afghanistan. Created over 2,000 years ago during the Roman Period, these Afghan beads are a mixture of turquoise blues, a mix of shapes, beautifully graduated. Size ranges from 4mm diameter- 7mm diameter. Fairly fragile beads, and so so rare!! These were traded along the Silk Road in ancient times, from my personal collection!
