Ancient Bactrian Jasper & Serpentine
Beautiful and rare jasper and serpentine beads from the ancient central Asian country of Bactria, northern Afghanistan. These are quite old, best guess 1000-1200 years old, highly collectible with subtle colors. Teardrop serpentine bead measures 9mm diameter x 12mm tall with 1mm hole. Interesting unique jasper bead is 12mm across x 16mm tall x 4.5mm thick. This bead has a chip at the top end at the hole, which happened a long time ago. 2 beads on this grouping.
