Afghan Ring, Niello Technique
Amazing vintage Afghan ring with the niello technique of silver surface treatment, Islamic writing, "There is one God and the name of God is Allah". A stepped band, this ring is fairly light-weight and very well made. Some niello pattern on the sides. Size 8, measuring 12mm across x 20mm tall, band is 7mm wide. Beautiful workmanship!
