Ancient Carnelian, Mali
This short strand is bow-drilled, and around 2,000 years old, excavated in Djenne, Mali. It is 5 inches long, diamond shapes of carnelian agate, sizes are 16mm - 20mm long, 9 beads on the strand. Holes are small, about .5mm. Soft translucent and some opaque orange colors. These shapes are rare!
