Large Cowbone Disk Beads, Kenya
A classic, these handmade bone disk-shape beads are made in Kenya, and are a traditional bead. African dealers call these buttons, and they could be used as a button! These have been tea-stained to take on a brown color. This strand is fairly uniform in size, 77 beads per strand, average 20mm diameter x 8mm tall. Hole is about 2mm, so thinner leather works well. 24 inch strand.
