Vintage Early 1900s Silver Breastplate from Afghanistan
Gorgeous 80% silver breastplate with excellent workmanship by Afghanistan metalsmiths. With Czech glass "rubies", each engraved with something in Afghan Persian. Vintage 1920 or 30s breastplate; 40" in length, with each cup 6" diameter x 1"deep. Center pendant with silver bells/dangles is 3.5" x 2" and one lovely carnelian stone dead center. One-of-a-kind find!
