Turkman Breastplates with Dangles
This is a complete pair of Turkman tribe breast plates, worn for dancing in Afghanistan. Two-tone silver and brass designs with beautiful old fringe which jangles and makes pleasant sounds as they bump against each other. Hooks for center cleavage closure needs ring which will be provided. This could be sewn onto a bodice, or worn nude. Marquis-shape carnelian stones (19mm x 13mm). Hooking back is up to the wearer. This is a very rare item, and in excellent condition! Each side is 7 1/2 inches across x 4 inches tall without fringe. Dangles add 2 3/4 inches along bottom. 16 dangles on each side. An awesome unique piece!
