Antique Chinese needle case, 4 panels tell a story, with a beautiful carnelian bead hanging below. Drop needles when finished sewing into the top! Slide casing up to retrieve a sewing needle. The decorative blooming lotus hook at the top can attach to any cord or chain around the neck. 6 inches total length, 2" rectangular container (when closed) x 15mm square (hollow) with a 15mm diameter carnelian bead. Approximately 100 years old. A real beauty!
