Antique "Gold" Zhang Guolao of the 8 Immortals Hat Amulet
Antique gold-wash silver hat amulet worn to bestow good luck for the owner. This is the 2nd of the popular Chinese deities "The 8 Immortals" whose name is Zhang Guolao (Chinese: 張果老). 38mm tall x 18mm wide. Wonderful detail. Zhang Guolao is represented as an ‘Old’ man (sometimes riding a mule not seen on this amulet) who carries magical items. He’s a symbol of wisdom and used to help childless couples conceive.
