Ancient Roman Glass Bicones, Afghanistan
16" strand of ancient Roman period glass pieces cut and drilled into beads recently. Over 2000 year old glass from various excavations along the ancient Silk Road in Afghanistan. Chunky faceted bicone shapes, slightly graduated sizes averaging 12-16mm long with light green serpentine jade saucer spacers inbetween. Wonderful as it is, or use in your own jewelry projects. Nice range of colors, coke-bottle greens, jonquil, and teals. This ancient glass has calcification on it.
