Strand of Small Ancient Roman Glass Beads
24" strand of 2000+ year old Roman Era glass beads. Awesome collection of mixed beads in a lovely grey, blues and beige with calcification (see photos for examples). They were excavated in the ancient city of Djenné (which is near Timbuktu) in Mali. The average bead size ranges from 3mm x 4.5mm diameter with very small holes. These are quite rare now.
