Unique Nagaland "Four Heads" Necklace
Colorful and unusual necklace from the (former headhunting) Konyak Naga tribe of the Indian state of Nagaland, which is found in Northern India. This 100+ year old piece of jewelry features four brass heads as a wonderful pendant (measures 5.50" from ear to ear, and 1.50" tall), traditionally meant to represent how many heads were severed and collected by the wearer.. Beads average 16mm in diameter; strand measures 32".
