Strand of 7-Layer Venetian Chevrons Traded in Peru - RARE!
Beautiful 7-layer chevrons strung with hand-cut glass. The chevrons are tiny, blue with red and white layers and strung with hand-cut clear glass. This variety was traded in Peru in the 1600-1700s, and are extremely rare. 92 Chevrons (sm: 6 x 7mm, largest 13 x 13mm) and 25 clear hand- cut glass beads (average 8 x 6mm). Collector's item!
