Set of blue-red Funky Hebron Glass Beads
Set of 8 funky blue Hebron glass beads with bits of red glass in them. These are very unusual for the blue Hebrons, so we assembled them into this set. Sizes in this grouping range from 13mm to 20mm in diameter. These beads are very worn and some have chips and crack which is not all that uncommon (see photo). Estimated to be between 600 and 800 years old, made in Israel and heavily traded in the Sudan region, Hebron beads were made from Dead Sea salts and the most common color are these dull yellow, the rarest being blue, and these red/blue are surely teh oddest of that variety.
