Roman Era Seafoam Glass Beads, Recycled Bracelet Pieces
18" strand of Roman seafoam, light green glass beads made from transparent glass that is over 2,000 years old, recently excavated and drilled in Afghanistan. These were originally bangle bracelets, which were in broken sections. Cylindrical with a twist, these beads average 8mm long x 7mm diameter with 1.5mm holes and have a matte finish. Last photo shows other color options. Beads were produced in Afghanistan in the 1980's.
