Medium Bauxite Discs from Nigeria
Here is a 21" strand of medium size brick red Bauxite discs from Nigeria circa 1900s. Discs average approx 8-10mm diameter x 4-6mm long (with some bigger and some smaller), with a 2-3mm hole. What’s "bauxite"? It is a rock, comprised of iron and aluminum, and is the primary source of aluminum.
