Idar-Oberstein Faceted Bicone Bead
Carnelian agate beads from Mali, made in Idar-Oberstein, Germany in the mid – late 1800s. Material (agate) from Brazil, cut in Germany, then traded in Mali. This squared bicone shape is precisely cut, multi-faceted, and has a 1mm hole. Size varies from 18mm x 12mm diameter to 17mm x 15mm. Priced to sell separately, not as a group.
