Ethiopian Silver Rings
These rings were cast in the early 1900's and may be older . The visible wear from string, and the smoothness of the surface are clear signs of age and have been worn, mostly in necklaces. They are worn in wedding ceremonies and henceforth. Sometimes women wear then entwined in elaborate hair styles. They are solid high silver, about 90%, and have a pleasing weight. Size varies, but averaging 20-22mm outer diameter with large interior openings 11-18mm.
