Venetian Faceted Pink Eye Beads
Venetian Eye beads from the early 1800's or late 1700's. Cheyenne pink with cobalt and white eyes, 11mm diameter and good condition with some pock marks etc. These beads were made one at a time, lamp-wound in Italy and then, by popular design, ground down to make flattened facets in Nigeria. Hole size is about 2mm. This type is extremely rare!
