Vintage Venetian football-shaped bead with red, yellow and white cane millefiori beads, impressive size! This bead has a dusty matte finish and the patterns are smooth, not raised. 13mm diameter x 22mm long. From the early 1900's, traded in West Africa. Photo shows the slight variations.
