Antique Chinese Tinder Pouch, 1800's
This tinder pouch is a beautiful work of art, and was used along with flint to strike a spark, starting a fire. Hung from a belt, these were an essential survival tool, and could be from Tibet. Unsigned and over 100 years old. Measures 2.5" x 2.5" and has a flap which opens, and some nice details on loop and corners. Mixed metals: steel, brass & silver. Highly collectible!
