Carved Fossilized Mastodon Ivory, Buddha
Carved in Indonesia in the 1990's, this small Happy Buddha is a sweet pendant. The material is found in the Aleutian Islands, and is fossilized Mastodon ivory. 3/4 inch from top to bottom, 12mm wide. Hole behind is 1.5mm. Hand carved, one-of-a-kind.
