Ancient Glass Beads, Afghanistan
16.5" strand of graduated ancient glass beads from Afghanistan. Created over 2,000 years ago during the Roman Period, these Afghan beads are a mixture of beige, clear, and green glass, sphere and rondelle shapes, some with subtle texture and some calcification. Size ranges from 4mm diameter- 12mm diameter. Fairly fragile beads, and so so rare!! Last pictures show 2 strands, A & B. These were traded along the Silk Road in ancient times, from my personal collection!
