Antique Mauritania "Amber" Beads, D
These large diamond-shaped and Round-shaped amber beads are over 100 years old and are found in Mauritania and Niger. They are an imitation (like Bakelite Parkesine) amber made in Germany from plant resin. Hole is approximately 1.5-2mm and has a decorative hole through the center, adding to design possibilities. Beads vary in size (see photo - SOLD SEPARATELY, not in a group); the rounds are approximately 31mm in diameter x 22mm thick and the diamonds are approximately 34mm x 35mm x 24mm thick.
