Antique Matte Transparent African Trade Beads
Antique football-shaped Venetian glass beads, made in the late 1800s and traded in West Africa. Slightly pinkish-clear transparent matte glass -- some of the beads may need to have some black "tar" cleaned off of them (see photo). Beads average 16mm x 12mm diameter. 38 beads in this strand.
