Ancient Bactrian Agate & Quartz Strand
Beautiful and rare old agate bead at bottom, from the ancient central Asian country of Bactria, now northern Afghanistan, quite old, best guess 1000-1200 years old, highly collectible with subtle colors. The bottom ancient bead has a chip at the end, beautiful natural banding. Two matte finish agates above are about 100 years old, traded in Africa. Center agate bead measures 14mm diameter x 24mm long. Spaced with ancient quartz beads which were excavated in Mali, West Africa. 6 beads on this short strand. Truly one of a kind!
