Antique 16mm Carved Fruit Pit Mala
Buddist prayer beads made from a carved fruit pit, these are sacred prayer beads. Quite uniform in size, 16mm diameter with 1.5mm hole, with a larger and newer guru bead. 54 inches long, 108 beads including center guru bead and can be worn as is, used for prayer (not worn) or taken apart. These are a large size prayer strand, handmade in Tibet. These have been lovingly worn smooth from prayer with interesting carvings. They are so tactile and have a rich dark brown color, very rare! Not washed to show ash residue from prayer.
