Antique tribal pendant made from a snail shell that is sacred to tribes in India (Turbinella pyrum, commonly called the chank shell, sacred chank or chank, also known as the divine conch, sometimes referred to simply as a conch). Lovely irregular and organic pendant with very small 2mm bow-drilled hole in the (off) center; 60mm diameter. From the Ao tribe of the Nagaland state of India.
