Old Blue Hebron Bead, large

Sorry, this item is out of stock

Estimated to be between 600 and 800 years old, made in Israel and heavily traded in the Sudan region, Hebron beads were made from Dead Sea salts and the rarest color are these dark blue-green. Because of the war in Sudan, these beads are nearly impossible to find, and the price is rising. These are the large, slightly squared off/barrel shaped variety of Hebron beads, averaging 18-20mm diameter x 10-14mm thick. Each bead is unique, photo shows the variation in size, shape and color.
