Large Patinated Brass "Two-faced" Cab from the Lou Zeldis Studios
Large 21mm diameter (7mm thick) dark solid brass "two-faced" cab with lovely green patina; one side with the eyes open and the other with them closed. The late Lou used these as components in some of his ring and pendant jewelry, and now we have the last reaming stock from this studio. There is no hole in this cabochon. Priced to sell individually, not as a pair. Lou was fascinated with ancient charms and symbols. This bronze/brass coin was used in a particular ring that featured sun and moon faces on the flip sides this reversible cab/coin (see photo of an official finished ring by Lou Zeldis -- which we do not sell).
