Graduated Strand of Ancient Roman-Era Glass Beads
Ancient Roman glass beads excavated in Djenne, Mali, West Africa. About 2000 years old. A gorgeous 28" strand of excellent condition beads, sizes ranging from approx. 2mm x 6mm diameter to 8mm x 7mm diameter and 12mm diameter x 6mm. Variety in shapes and color ranges from some olive green but more aqua to cobalt, and there is very, very little calcification on these beads.
