Strand of Roman Glass Beads, Coins
19" strand of ancient Roman period glass pieces cut and drilled as beads. Over 2000 years old from various excavations in and around Afghanistan. A variety of mostly round lentil-shape or coin-shape beads, graduated sizes and mostly sea-green. Wonderful as it is, but needs restringing. Sizes range from 12mm diameter to the large centerpiece 18mm x 9mm. This ancient glass has calcification, and some small cylindrical spacer beads between.
