Antique Striped Agate Beads
Beautiful and very unusual striped agate beads made in Idar-Oberstein, Germany in the late 1800's and traded in Mali, West Arica. Each bead is unique in striations. 18 beads on the strand, a few teardrop shapes, but mostly elongated tapered tubes. Middle bead measures 42mm x 12mm. Top beads measure 25mm x 8mm. 24 inch strand.
