Strand of Roman Glass Beads
19" strand of ancient Roman period glass pieces cut and drilled as beads recently. Over 2000 years old from various excavations in and around Afghanistan. A variety of mostly oval-shape beads, two hole links. Graduated sizes and mostly sea-green. Wonderful as it is, but needs restringing. Sizes average 8mm x 18mm with small .5mm holes. This ancient glass has calcification and patina, and some small serpentine cylindrical spacer beads inbetween.
